We are Trevor and Larkin, high school sweethearts who fell in love with photography after graduating college with unrelated degrees. After planning our own wedding, we realized we didn't want to stop being involved in those type of events, and thus, Deep Roots Photography was born.

We take pride in building strong relationships with our clients - after all, you should be surrounded by people who truly know you and care about you on your wedding day! Our favorite feeling is walking away at the end of the night knowing we gained a whole new group of friends. When you reach out to us, make sure you tell us a bit about yourself so we can start getting to know you!

Much of our free time is spent adventuring- whether right here in the Finger Lakes, or on the opposite side of the country. We LOVE when our two favorite pastimes cross, and a wedding or engagement takes us to a new part of the world! If your wedding will be located outside our immediate area, PLEASE get in touch to see if we can join you for your adventure!

It couldn't be simpler! Give us a call or send us a message, including your wedding date and some information about you and your fiance and the day you're planning. We'll set up a time to meet with you two to talk about more details. For our long-distance couples, a video call will be perfect!

We always encourage our couples to look through our blog at past weddings and engagements, as well as our Instagram and Facebook pages ahead of time-- there are MANY photography styles, and you should love the images your potential photographer has created!

Once your contract is signed and payment confirmed, we'll set up your engagement session, which is a great way for us to get to know each other better and get a little taste of what your wedding day will be like with us. We usually plan some sort of laid-back excursion that highlights your personality, like a stroll through your favorite park or a trip to the place you and your fiance met. Just like with your wedding photos, you'll receive your engagement images in a digital gallery, and have the option to purchase prints, books or wall art (which we HIGHLY recommend- they look amazing!).

As your wedding day approaches, we'll get together with you to create a detailed timeline to help the day run smoothly. This is very important, whether we are the only vendor you've hired or one of many, as it puts us all on the same page!

The day of, we'll cheerfully document as you celebrate with your friends and family. Within a week, you'll make your debut on our blog--our favorite, since it tells the story of your day! Six to eight weeks after the wedding you'll get your digital gallery, along with a print release and options for prints, wall art, and albums/books (they make amazing gifts for parents and other relatives!). After that? Well, many of our clients become really wonderful friends, so we hope to stay in contact for years to come.

Sound like a great fit for you? Get in touch today! Wedding investments begin at $2,950.
